Carmine’s (Marina Village at Atlantis, Casino Drive) — this is indeed the Nassau spinoff of the famed New York Italian restaurant –best known for the family-size portions of its meals. Unlike other Italian restaurants (which are geared toward romantic couples of small groups), Carmine’s prides itself with being able to accommodate groups of six or more patrons. To say everything on the menu is very tasty is no exaggeration — whether one orders the Chicken Parmigiana, Veal Marsala, Shrimp Scampi, or just the angel hair pasta. The quality of the food here is confirmed when patrons take home what’s not eaten on the premises, as well as ordering for those who weren’t available for dinner.
