Silver Palm Lounge (Ritz-Carlton, West Bay Road, Seven Mile Beach, Grand Cayman) – the Silver Palm has two distinct areas. One section is a replica of a classic English country library (suitable for afternoon tea or a pre- or post-dinner champagne or single malt).
Then there’s the sexy, black-clad Taikun lounge, with hardwood wainscoting, carved bamboo, marble floors, lacquer tables, and nightclub-groomed waitstaff. A favored drink here is the Silver Palm Cosmopolitan (Ketel One citron, triple sec, a squeeze of fresh lime juice, and a splash of cranberry topped off with Moët champagne). Along with that, there is wine by the glass, cigars, cognacs, aged rum, scrumptious sushis, and tasty tapas. This nightspot attracts both local bankers & accountants, as well as their visiting customers (who could have easily flown in via private jet or cruised in via yacht).
